Once upon a time...there was an infographic....

Greetings!!...No, I wasn't dead...or in a party...The final test on the last quarter and the summer courses that I was giving...and of course...my summer break...made forget a little my blog...but I promise It wont happen again, and I will show some good stuff.

In the course that I did by Recurso Creativo (Creative Resource), they gave me this video that looks like one I upload sometime ago on my Spanish blog, about how info graphics see the world,...but how would happen if an infographic tells a fairy tale like the Red riddinghood?...Here is your answer!

Well... I REALLY LOVE DOING POSTERS actually on this quarter I had successful results with two posters. The sketches (from the top) are from a contests from Savannah Local11ten, amazing gooood food.

TRABAJO FINAL

This is other poster for Wormsloe Historic site, that I did for my publications' classes and you compete with all the illustrator on the same class like you. The client chose mine cause its concept was original and eye catching. I also was looking for something original, drawi it lke those antique portraits that were profile silhouettes and also, with the natural elements transmits a peaceful place for reflection.

Checking old portfolio

Checking out my portfolio I found 2 infographics.. telling the true is very satisfying seen how much you have grown... long time ago I saw these works really good.. But now, I see them random..and also I can find mistakes and know how make them better...The first one was about the movie remake of the prophesy, (taking advantage that the day was 6 - 6 - 2006) so... I make this design.. and also added the meaning of the 666... I couldn't coordinate that time with the designer, we had little time to do it.... you can see that the bottom, the photos are too much far from the text...and the paragraph was really long, even is very hard to read!... but well, at least those mistakes I will never do them again!



this was for the Science and technology issue.. is about the vantages about eating insects... I like the idea of the bug on the fork , but the infographic has a lot of negative space...and really poor design.. well, what did you think?

This is a poster that I did for my Concepts & Composition's class, was about the human rights, I chose this subject (FMG), I did it once for the news paper, but this time I want to apply it for a poster. The sketch is up and the down is the final work. I like to work with this style with paper.
